| So, this morning at church i was baptized! FINALLY! i was excited. and it was about stinkin' time. a few of my good friends came :) (thanks Jennifer, Ronda, Jeremiah!) which was totally awesome! and so did my neighbors. Kenny Paul is only 3 and after my mom was baptized he goes "Miss Caffy got bathf-tized!" to which the whole congregation cracked up. then it was my turn and after i came up he went "Miss Erin got bathf-tized!" and, once again, laughter! i thought it was too cute (and so did all my friends). anyway. it was wonderful and i'm so glad i decided to take that step of obedience. it feels good. i am also really glad i decided to have it done by Pastor Brian at church instead of doing it at camp. it really meant a lot to me how much my friends cared to come (and Ronda even gave me a "Happy Baptism" gift!). and afterwards everyone in the church kept coming up to give me hugs - usually the old guys just do handshakes, but today they were huggin' all over me! i am just really very excited and wanted to share with the world! woohoo!! in other news...we got 14 goats about 3 weeks ago. this goat business thing is quite fun so far. one of the nannies looks like she could be giving birth any time in the next week or so, so that is exciting! baby goats are too cute :) i'm going to try and post a couple pictures of the goats and/or llama. | | |
| we have a new pet! we are now the proud owners of a Llama! that's all. i keep meaning to take a pic of him...he's cute he came with the name "Rainman" and i don't like it. so my sister and i are going to change his name. it's not like he comes when you call his name or anything, so i don't think it will confuse him all that much. we just can't decide on a good one. i'm taking suggestions. we've had everything from "kusko" (the emperor's new groove has a llama with that name i hear? idk.) and Evan's suggestion of "osama bin llama" RIIIIIIGHT. i think not. so we have 6 acres fenced off for one llama and a goat. i think they have enough room now i suppose. too bad the dumb goat got his head stuck in the fence the day after he moved in. they are NOT the brightest creatures that God ever made. stupid. but we are almost goat farmers now. 75 goats are supposed to show up monday. this is NUTS. i just have to remember "DO NOT GET ATTACHED" as they will be sold in the early spring. this might be emotional! | Currently Watching Without A Paddle (Widescreen Edition) By Matthew Price (II), Andrew Hampton (II), Jarred Rumbold, Carl Snell, Antony Starr, Dax Shepard, Matthew Lillard, Seth Green, Nadine Bernecker, Danielle Cormack, David Stott, Bonnie Somerville, Scott Adsit, Morgan Reese Fairhead, Liddy Holloway, Mia Blake, Bruce Phillips, Kate Harcourt, Ray Baker, Gregory Norman Cruz see related |
